Put bluntly there no other “diet” that allows me do accomplish the above… And for those specific reasons is why I am absolutely obsessed with it

I no longer count calories, track my food, or really even care what my total intake is anymore..

…I do think tracking and weighing out your food is important when you first start your keto journey.

But we’ll save that spiel for another time

Many would agree that most “diets” are not sustainable long term and often have you feeling sluggish with low energy.

In my opinion the hardest part about doing the keto diet is buying into the fact that the majority of your calorie intake will comes from fats…. not so much executing on it.

So What Exactly Is The Ketogenic Diet?

The ketogenic diet is a high fat, moderate protein, extremely low carbohydrate diet, in which you are essentially reprogramming your body to use fat as its primary fuel source as opposed to carbohydrate.

Reducing your carbohydrate levels and depleting your body of glycogen can put you in a state of Ketosis which means your body no longer is run on glucose and is using ketones as it primary fuel source….

…..which is the ultimate goal of starting a keto diet.

Most people go down this Ketogenic path with one goal in mind, and that is weight loss and burning fat.  While that is a tremendous thing..The health benefits  you get are so much greater.

How It Works

for the sake of keeping it simple, what you need to know is the keto diet stops your body from constantly releasing insulin and levels out our blood sugar levels…

And if you know anything about insulin it, it has been called the ” fat storage hormone” so by limiting your carbs you stop blood sugar spike and the release of insulin in your body.

It seems like everyday more and more new data is coming out proving old stereo type wrong on how fat works in the body. Research is showing the ketogenic diet can improve risk factors in a number of different conditions and diseases like:Health benefits of ketones

The reason I love keto so much is just for the fact that i am able to maintain the physique I want 365 days a year while still being able to live a normal social life..

It has been a great journey thus far and I hope to keep it going- I have learned a lot on the way and… have also made a some mistakes-

I generally keep this lean of a physique for the the year give or take a little depending on the season.

I am not the biggest, strongest, most shredded dude in the world but it is a physique I can be proud of…

…and one that is absolutely attainable with some dedication for any one who is willing to put in the effort (Sorry for the awkward bathroom selfie in advance I haven’t made big enough yet to warrant quality photos) haha

If the keto diet and ketosis is something you are into trying, definitely continue to do your research I promise it is life changing.

Please know it is not a miracle supplement

it has it’s fair share of benefits you can actually feel…but unfortunately marketing in the supplement world is very hyped up and can be misleading..

I think ketones actually get a bad wrap because of how they are marketed.. it is sad but .. I personally am a big fan I have been using these for the last couple months and am still pleased.. Mixed with coffee cant Beat it
