How to Use
The recommended usage is 1 scoop 1 to 3 times a day, I personally recommend using 1 scoop one time a day and using it post workout.. but really you can use it at any time of the day.

The biggest take away here is that there are a handful of ways to optimize it’s usage- Here are my favorites.
As mentioned above, taking this post work out is my personal favorite.. The MCTs help with absorption and are burned quick while the collagen helps with recovery.
I mentioned in the benefits above collagen protein plays a huge role in the regeneration of tissue, joints, connective tissues and ligaments etc. So using this post workout to help with recovery is actually pretty awesome.
MCT’s have been shown to provide your body with a fast acting energy source so naturally this can be used to fuel your workouts. This is especially helpful when on a low-carb diet like most of us are.
I typically like mixing MCTs in with my pre-work out supplementation for added energy output (don’t confuse this with stimulation) to not only help with output but also to help increase fat burning from the MCT’s thermogenic effect.
Mid Morning or Mid-Afternoon Snack
In essence there is really no bad time to use this.. on occasion I take between meals or when I am traveling and can’t eat which is awesome.

….Here is my take
I am going to lead in with this this little tidbit.. so take it for what it is worth..
I haven’t use a protein supplement in 4 + years.. Yes, I love them but, many of them out there are mess with my liver enzymes .. So I Stopped.. Until this..
Here is what drew me towards this product and why I think it fits will with our keto life style…
….If you are are taking a protein supplement for one reason or another (whey, pea, egg, or soy protein) & on the ketogenic diet there is a good possibility
- Your Insulin levels are spiking when it is consumed, this is not a “bad” thing but it is one thing we are trying to avoid on the keto diet
- Higher levels of protein powder can get converted into glucose (carbs) in the absence of fat and thus kick you our of ketosis.. I wont go too far in depth here but know if you are use a protein powder, you should take WITH a fat source to avoid this from happening..
Both of these are important because…
- One of the most critical benefits of the keto diet in it’s ability to stop insulin (the fat storage hormone) from being released in the body
- We all know that glucose is not necessarily our friend during this diet..so keeping protein consumption to 10-15 grams at a time is key
So.. that being said
This Why I’m Such a Fan
Without going into the benefits I experienced (although I will).. I just love how well these products are made..
I really am careful about whats going into my body, & I totally LOVE the fact that this product is super clean.. I feel comfortable knowing it doesn’t have any fillers or any negative side effects.
You have no idea how hard it is to find supplements that are not loaded with fillers & sweetened with stevia.
Everyone’s Favorite Question…What doe it Taste Like?
Honestly I like. It is not mind blowing but it is good.. And for as high quality and clean of a product it is, I can say I enjoy drinking it.
I actually add a little extra cocoa powder and stevia to sweeten it up just a bit when I need something sweet, it is almost like a dessert at that point.
Joint Pain and Inflammation <== The Good Stuff
Just a little back story, here I had been looking to get a collagen product for a couple months now, just because i wanted to see if it would help with joint pain and inflammation.
I had been doing some research to see if there was actually any benefit from using collagen, I found some mixed feelings on it but…
….My goal was to see if there was any noticeable benefit compared to a regular protein powder before I dove back in.
I really struggle with shoulder pain, from poor training and injuries from when i was younger.. A lot of the time this stops me from scaling up my training frequency..
My hope was this would help ease the pain following a chest, or back day..
I will say it is not necessarily like a miracle product, but i have noticed less post training irritation In my shoulder blade and surrounding my rotator cuff..
I can’t guarantee this is from Keto Collagen but for being though my first tub (lasted about 14 days), I think is has brought a little more benefit in recovery that a regular protein supplement would…
This is just my thought.. all anecdotal based on my experience

This has my full recommendation.. Totally worth it. If you are using a protein now, this is a good one to pick up.
